Akkar Emergency Update

Akkar Emergency Update

The explosion of the fuel tank in Akkar, Lebanon resulted in the deaths of at least 28 people, and 79 injured with severe burns. This had a devastating effect on the people of Lebanon as their troubles only deepened.
Al-Ihsan Foundation launched an emergency appeal to aid all of the families affected by the explosion, providing food packs that contained essential items including items like bread (which has become somewhat of a luxury item to the people of Lebanon) to help ease some of the burdens they are enduring.
We thank all those who contributed.
