Breaking the Fast of a Poor Person

Ramadan is known as a time of happiness, a time where families get together and join one another for iftar and social gatherings. Unfortunately, for many Muslims around the world, Ramadan consisting of food either for themselves or with their family to break their fast with is more so a dream than reality. By breaking ones fast, by the will of Allah you will also gain the reward of a fasting person. There is high importance breaking a fast of someone, especially those who are deserving of charity, such as the poor and needy. Supporting Reference: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward.” Narrated by Tirmidhi

How much is it to feed someone?

By donating as little as $50, you can provide a (person/family) with a food pack containing a whole month’s supply of essentials. This ensures that our fellow brothers and sisters who are fasting receive a healthful iftar and suhoor meal for the entire month of Ramadan.
