Al-Ihsan endeavours to contribute to the ongoing supporting a youth centre for adolescents and children to use. Al-Ihsan intends on having these centres as central meeting points for the community and for a variety of programs.
There are many reasons as to why establishing and supporting youth centres are so important, not only in Australia but around the entire world. We find many personal and social issues amongst the youth of today. Some of these issues include:
- Depression and suicide,
- The use of drugs and alcohol,
- Education disparity,
- Violence in schools,
- Crime and gang activity,
- Extremism, and,
- Obesity, etc.
