Al-Ihsan Foundation’s water campaign for the thirsty is a special campaign in which we provide cleaning drinking water for those less fortunate. We often take for granted the comfortable and convenient lifestyle that we live in. We often forget how fortunate we are to simply turn a tap and have an unlimited supply of water. And we often forget that not everyone has been blessed with this simple privilege. Imagine traveling extremely long distances on rough terrains in the scorching heat of the sun on a summer day and/or in the severest of cold weathers just to have a drink of water and to take some home to your family. Building a well will not only provide convenient access to water for communities, but it also prevents severe and fatal diseases that are caused by a lack of hygiene. The lack of access to clean water is a serious issue in Indonesia.
