Al‑Ihsan Foundation distributes relief supplies to affected communities in the West

Al‑Ihsan Foundation, a not‑for‑profit public relief organisation has been distributing relief supplies to communities in Ba, Rakiraki, Tavua and Lautoka since they arrived last Monday.

This organisation is based in New South Wales, Australia.

Representative, Ahmed Dannoun says they have assisted close to 335 families.

He says the relief packs which they distribute contain the basic essentials and cost about $70 to put together.

They have used about $24,000 for relief efforts in Fiji.

Dannoun says it has been rewarding to see that Fijians continue to be happy with their families despite the devastation left by Cyclone Winston.

The team Al‑Ihsan Foundation will leave the country tomorrow.
