Al-Ihsan Foundation has established an orphanage in Malaysia to cater for children who are in need of fulltime housing and care. Children in orphanages are given a safe environment in which to grow, given somewhere to sleep as well as regular food and schooling. Most important though, is that children in orphanages are given a stable lifestyle to reach their full potential.
Al-Ihsan Foundation is devoted to the care of orphans and other children who were separated from their biological families. Examples of what would cause a child to be placed in an orphanage is when the biological parents pass away, the family was abusive to the child or there was substance abuse or mental illness at home that was detrimental to the child’s health.
The primary mission is to provide the orphaned children with a home and provide them with a loving, happy environment and provide physical, mental, emotional and spiritual nourishment.
All children, particularly orphans, need a safe place to grow. The children receive clothing and all schooling needs, food, medication and health care as well as items for leisure activities such as soccer balls or net balls and much more to enjoy some downtime. Caring for orphans and nurturing them with the basics like food and clean clothes increases the likelihood of them becoming positive members of their communities.
