Orphans are the most vulnerable children on earth. Losing either one or both parents due to war, poverty, conflict, sickness, disease, etc., these children are occasionally left to fend for themselves (and their siblings) and often become mere numbers in the ever-increasing refugee count.
Orphans are forced into independence at a very young age. They are also frequently deprived of the same opportunities as other children and are thus denied a decent education and upbringing. As a result, they grow up feeling insignificant and unloved.
